I need to renew my commitment to blogging. Reading old posts, I realize that I am not a terrible writer. Well, not as terrible as I think. Entertaining at least. So far, the posts on this blog are about school. I graduated three years ago! And I haven't sewn one thing since I left. Or drawn anything. I want this summer to be a mini renaissance for me. ART! FASHION! LIFE! There is a verse in the Bible I came across a few months ago that says something to the effect of "only pursue what is lovely and good" (it really says "lovely"). When I meet someone I admire, I say to myself that they are lovely. There is this warmth, this light that radiates from them. You can see that they are joyful. I want to be that person. Now is the time.
What am I going to give my dad for his birthday?!
